How long will it take?

Every space and every client is different, so I can’t estimate how long it will take to get your space decluttered and organized because so much depends on the individual’s readiness.  You’ll see results right away!

What does a typical session look like?

A typical organizing session is usually 3-4 hours and looks like this:

We’ll meet in the space you’d like to work on and discuss your goals for the space, your home and life.

As we talk about what works, what doesn’t and any challenges related to the space, items or your life more generally, I’ll form an initial plan to get started in the space.

I’ll share the game plan with you and then we’ll dive right into making it happen.

Before you feel emotionally, mentally or physically spent, we’ll wrap up and go through your homework.

The homework is designed to help you make progress in between sessions, practice the new skills you’ve learned and gain confidence.

It’s optional, of course, but the majority of my clients absolutely love the benefits they see from the homework!

My method of organizing involves teaching you skills and strategies to stay organized long term

You’ll learn actionable steps and gain confidence in every session with a clear plan to finish up the project on your own or with my continuing support.

Clients tell me each session is like having a weight lifted off of their shoulders because they immediately see progress they’ve never been able to achieve on their own and can see how quickly things will come together.

At times, it may feel a bit like therapy because clutter is so much more than stuff.  Lots of emotions and memories are tied up in our belongings.  We’ll work through all of that, if you’d like and you’ll feel the power of letting go, literally.

The Before and After Gallery features just a few freshly organized spaces from past projects with different clients.

Most of the transformations happened in a single organizing session!

I had the pleasure of having Christina help me get organized in my laundry room & pantry. She was great to work with. It was an easy & painless process. She gave me strategies on how to organize & I have already used them in other rooms. I would highly recommend her! -Sue, Highland Heights

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your organizing services cost?

My current rate is $100 per hour for in person or virtual organizing sessions.

Are you going to make me throw my stuff away?

Nope.  You are the ultimate decision maker for everything.  Nothing will leave your space that you don’t want to part with.

What should I buy before the first session?

Nothing!  If you are like most people, you own more than enough container options already.  We’ll work with what you have, and if necessary, we’ll make a plan for any purchases together.

Should I clean or try to sort through items before the first organizing session?

Please don’t!  You can clear your sink of dirty dishes and run the vacuum cleaner, but beyond that, please don’t try to get a head start.

Believe it or not, it’s most helpful for me to see the space as it normally is.

You can best prepare by eating breakfast or lunch before I come to help calm first meeting jitters and get you into a good mindset, ready to make decisions about your space.  If your belly is rumbling, it’ll be a distraction and slow down the process.

Will you teach me to be organized?

Absolutely!  You will learn tips and strategies that you can apply to other spaces in your home or office through out the organizing process.  See what clients have had to say about this.

I don’t live in the Cleveland area.  Can we still work together?

Heck yes!  If you’re outside of the Greater Cleveland area, virtual organizing and coaching may be right for you.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, in certain situations where the recipient has asked for help getting organized.  Even if your loved one needs my help, they need to be on board first.  Call me and let’s talk!
