This week I had a little more time to myself and I’ve spent a good amount of time getting the dirt and grime out, getting closer to a sparkling clean home! Not so much fun in theory, but in reality, I love a clean space and it motivates me to be more productive generally.
Over the last few years, I’ve found some true gems that have made cleaning so much less of a chore. Today, I’m doing a run down of my favorites products so that you can have a fabulously sparkling clean home too!
Therapy Stainless Steel Cleaner: This cleaner is awesome. I absolutely love this cleaner because it cleans and polishes so nicely. And it smells really lovely too. This is made by the same company as the great people behind the fabulous car cleaning products by Eco Touch. Great stuff!
Daddy Van’s beeswax furniture polish makes all wood furniture so incredibly beautiful and protects the finish too. It is super easy to apply and use! I love how it makes my furniture look and feel. I used it on my bedroom and kitchen furniture just today! I cannot overstate how much I like this wax. The more you use it, the more you will love it and how easy it makes to keep a clean home!
I have at least a half dozen of these wonder Scotch microfiber cloths. They work well to snag dust dry, but even better wet! What I like about these cloths is that they feel different from other microfiber cloths, and feel much nicer in my hand. I don’t know exactly how to describe it- some microfiber cloths feels sticky and yucky. It’s a funky tactile thing, I guess.
This Simple Human stainless steel cleaning mitt is awesome! Keep your hands neat and clean while you make your stainless steel appliances shine! I keep mine on a Command hook on the inside of the cabinet door under my kitchen sink so it’s always close at hand for a quick cleaning touch-ups.
I’m a huge Shark Tank fan and don’t you know, the Scrub Daddy is the number one selling product of all time to come out of that show. And I know why! This little guy is awesome. And I really like that there is a 4 pack available because this is the sort of thing that you’ll want to have on hand at all times. The one I got about four months ago is just about ready to be replaced and I’ve been super pleased with how long my Scrub Daddy has performed!
This Roomba vacuum cleaner is one of the easiest ways to keep a clean home. You simply set it up, schedule the days and times you’d like the machine to run and you’ll be pretty set!
We were gifted a Roomba this past Christmas and I was instantly in love. I cannot stress how much time this has saved me. I no longer have to worry about the first floor of my home to be vacuumed. And with a dog in the house, I used to have to vacuum at least two times a week. Rosie the Roomba has single-handedly been a time saving game changer!
This Seventh Generation toilet cleaner will keep your bathrooms sparkly clean! I really like to use eco-friendly options in my home and this one totally fits the bill.
This handy grabbing tool is fantastic for getting items out of hard to reach places. I really do consider this to be an essential for homes with kids because kids, or maybe it’s just my kids, seems to get stuff stuck in the weirdest places. And this grabber has saved me on multiple occasions from having to move furniture to retrieve a toy or something else! Clutter in corners does not equal a clean home!
This spray mop by O-Cedar is an awesome alternative to the traditional mop and is highly durable! It’s an eco-friendly option since the mop heads attach with hook and loop and can be easily removed for machine washing. I have several of the heads so that I always ave a clean one on hand.
